Easy to assemble. Perfect replacement for old parts. Elevating Gates will now open on their own after the first pull instead of pulling them all the way up to open.

The two lift gate cylinders fit perfectly, look high-quality and were easy to assemble. They raise my tailgate a little quicker than I'm used to, but that's fine once I get used to it.

Easy to install, pretty easy actually. You will need a 10mm or Phillips screwdriver. I was hoping that the tailgate would open like an automatic with the new struts, but I still had to help the tailgate open.

This product works very well in my 1996 Pathfinder LE. Truck tail lifts now open quickly, almost too quickly. That takes getting used to. It just doesn't fit where only the rear window opens separately, which is what I originally bought it for. I ended up finding window regulator rods from a 97 Pathfinder at a local junkyard for $10.

I replaced the stock tailgate supports on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder with these brand new ones and it's like a new car, the old ones were so weak I had to lift the tailgate and it creaked and creaked the whole time on . On these new ones, I pull the handle and the tailgate silently opens fully. Definitely recommend replacing your old ones with these if you're having trouble with yours!
