Nice and soft but not that warm

I don't know if they're actually warmer, but the extra padding makes them incredibly comfortable. It's a bit more difficult to attach my halves, but overall I'm very happy with them.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Requires outlet

DON'T Spend MONEY on Riding Boots

These plastic shoes don't even have to be. They look and feel like you're wearing plastic shoes! Then you get back what you paid for! Cheap, cheap, cheap! After wearing them I got a blister on my heel and had to keep walking in them even though it hurt so much. It's terrible!

Pros
  • Sturdy Finish
Cons
  • Trouble Happens

Not bad for an easy winter.

Shoes that don't feel lumpy are good. Worn while shopping and comfortable. Easy to clean after a walk in the pasture behind a horse. My feet stayed dry and comfortable in the barn, but the lining is not very thick. If you like to ride below 25 degrees, which I don't, you might want to go for a little more. All in all, this was my favorite shoe this winter. I was wearing my cotton, how should I put it, winter boots in our 18 inch snow.

  • Annual Trial

I have been very happy with these boots so far

I have been very happy with these boots so far. They did well riding indoors in 30 degree weather - after a few hours and in medium weight socks my toes were slightly cold. They're not too bulky either. I've had other winter riding boots that were so wide at the balls of the feet that I was concerned my foot might get stuck in the stirrup, but these boots don't feel wider than my summer riding boots.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not all fit

It's HUM! Fleece is as thick as nylon! Garbage!

You can buy a pair of rubber ankle boots at Walmart for $18, add a pair of wool socks and feel a lot warmer for half the price! The bottom of the boots were wavy because they weren't glued properly, the zipper wouldn't close when I put on a pair of thick wool socks. My shoe size is 8.5 and I bought a 9.5 to leave room for my socks. I had to put my foot in a boot with socks. Save money! Buyers beware - Revane said I could return them but the seller charges a hefty restocking fee.

Pros
  • Enjoyable

  • Zero

Comfortable, paint issue, fell apart after use

Love these boots. They are very minimal and go well with any outfit (in fact I use them for everyday boots with good grip! I was driving and remembered paddock boots are great for slippery surfaces and I live in New York where there are many reasons , slipping everywhere . . ). The only downside is that the ink rubs off on the skin the first time you use it. I took off my boots and found that my heels were blue-black. They rub off pretty easily but it was a bit scary haha. Edit after 2 monthsโ€ฆ

Nice and warm, good price

These boots were for my granddaughter who is learning dressage on a ranch in Wisconsin. Midwestern winters are cold and the arena she rides in is not heated. Don't think there are places like this in the area. She used to wear riding boots, just like TuffRider's fleece-lined boots, but without a lining. Her toes are very warm now and she is very happy with these boots. If she's happy, so am I and her mom is happy! The package arrived very quickly with no signs of wear. The shoes were in perfect

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Functionality
