My son had an art parade at school where he had to create wearable art inspired by artist Yayoi Kusama. This set was great. There was a vibrant variety of colors as she normally does. I have so much left. You can create a 3D style, but only with the applicator at the tip of the pen. If not, then we used a stencil and brushes. The hat has a slight 3D effect with black color. Bought this set for my daughter's birthday. The color choice was great, I liked having all of these colors in one set. The paint was a bit runny, more so than I remember as a kid (that was the last time I used puff paint). It was a bit runny and spread a little more over the fabric than I would have liked.
