We used this to dye 5 cotton masks and 2 children's t-shirts and we still had some red and blue left (yellow dyed faster because we used a lot of it to make both orange and green ). ). However, we left the color on for about 24 hours, which was significantly longer than recommended. Also, the blue is REALLY dark, so for one of the shirts I diluted it with about 1 to 1 water and it worked fine.

Nice colors and right price. I bought it to knit color socks for my kids. Next time I'd take my socks off first by washing them in vinegar and baking soda. The reason is that I prewashed the socks but the color still came out of the socks. So much dye was wasted. I used socks under the armor and they took the color well. I also used Nike socks and they only used blue color. Very strange, they were colored the same and I wrapped them and let them sit for 13 hours before rinsing and washing them.

Bought for my sister who lives to dye ties. We sewed shirts. The box says you can make 9 different projects, but we barely had enough paint to make 5 shirts. I'm not sure if we screwed up somehow or what. However. I left the color on for almost 2 days instead of the recommended 8 hours because I didn't want the colors to fade too much. But after 1 wash they lose a lot. I think it makes the shirt look like vintage tie dye, but if that's not the look you want I wouldn't recommend this set. 1-Step
