Colorful Patriot Pride: 2-Pack Mini Tulip One-Step Tie Dye Kit Review

I thought they were great for 4th of July shirts. But I found the description a bit misleading. It says there are 2 packs which I think meant there were 2 packs each containing 2 bottles (and having read other reviews) but we only received one pack. Not a bad deal, it just wasn't enough for me to do what we wanted. One pack contained two XS size shirts for 2 and 4 year olds and a small shirt for 6 year olds and we barely had enough solution for those three.

We used this kit to make Memorial Day shirts for our three children. The kids loved it and we were delighted with the color saturation. We had enough to heavily soak a cotton t-shirt 12-18 months, 5T and size 10-12. We noticed that the all cotton t-shirts had no color stains in the white areas, but the t-shirt we had was a cotton blend that turned pink in the white areas. There is no way to keep the colors from blurring, there will be at least a little and if that doesn't bother you then do it but personally I can can't stand the little spots of purple and orange. I read someone said that red becomes pink and that's not true, it's red, you just have to give it time to really sit down on your clothes and follow the basic guidelines for dying a tie.
