Excellent for watercolor painting

I am very satisfied with this Tumuarta mixed media painting album. Good thick smooth paper excellent for watercolours. Also works well with acrylic. Right now I prefer water because it's so portable. I like to draw and paint in this sketchbook. Large size and perforation for you to tear out the image page easily and smoothly. Great quality and I just love it. Gorgeous for my amateur creativity.

Pros
  • Art paper
Cons
  • For a long time

Beautiful hardcover sketchbook. Works perfectly.

This mixed media Tumuarta sketchbook was perfect for me. I used it with fill color and stencil as an experiment. Because the paint was very wet, the paint did not bleed through to the other side. On the back of the paper I used several coats of acrylic paint and again the paint didn't bleed to the other side. The only problem is quite common, the paper didn't lay flat. The sketchbook has a hard cover like a book. It has 64 pages, that's 128 pages, if you use both sides. 122 lbs. Paper…

Pros
  • Wet & Dry Painting: Medium ridged surface ideal for watercolors, acrylics, ink sticks, crayons, markers, oil pastels and more, excellent performance with the widest range of wet and dry mediums.
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

Very durable high quality mixed media paper

I really like this sketchbook - I've tried different materials in it (watercolor, colored pencil, drawing pens, acrylic, felt tip pen, even oil pastel) and they all worked well. Being mixed media, it's made for different mediums so as not to be really good at just one, and it's worked really well with everything I've thrown at it. There is very little ghosting or blurring,

Pros
  • Micro-Perforated Sheets: Micro-perforated sheets can be easily torn off without damaging the artwork and you can hang your masterpiece, the pages can be easily turned over or removed at will.
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Decent mixed material, although I wouldn't wash it

I've built a set of notebooks to take with me on walks and hikes for sketching and quick drawing. This one looked good for a bigger job. COVERS The covers on this one are pretty rigid so they support the work I plan to do in this area. PAPER The paper is pretty decent. I can also draw with pen, pencil and light watercolor paint. MARKER? I wouldn't draw on it with a marker. In particular, it absorbs alcohol markers. Marking paper is better for this paper in my opinion. A few highlighter accents…

Pros
  • Hardcover Spiral Marker Notebook: Durable and durable thick hardcover cardstock allows for drawing and painting, opens fully and allows the book to lay flat and work with spreads.
Cons
  • Not sure
