Decent mixed material, although I wouldn't wash it

I've built a set of notebooks to take with me on walks and hikes for sketching and quick drawing. This one looked good for a bigger job. COVERS The covers on this one are pretty rigid so they support the work I plan to do in this area. PAPER The paper is pretty decent. I can also draw with pen, pencil and light watercolor paint. MARKER? I wouldn't draw on it with a marker. In particular, it absorbs alcohol markers. Marking paper is better for this paper in my opinion. A few highlighter accents here or there would be ok, but not full images. TO WASH? I wouldn't wash this unless it's VERY light and quick. This paper is not like heavy-duty watercolor paper. I can use a variety of mediums from watercolor, pen and ink to colored pencil and pastel (although I prefer pastel paper for finished work). I mainly use it for sketching ideas for paintings that I will make later. BOTTOM LINE This mixed media notebook allows me to explore sketches and quick work for future paintings. It works well with a variety of media, but I wouldn't use markers on it just because it holds so much ink. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. This works for what I want to use it for. I'm happy with it so far. FEATURES So far this has proven to be a solid mixed media tablet.
