And I'm SO glad I did

After reading reviews of what appeared to be hundreds of winter boots, I finally settled on these boots for my four year old son who wears a size 13 extra wide boot. And I'm SO glad I did. I bought a size 1 for him and they fit him perfectly with plenty of room. I wanted to make sure they lasted all winter. They are SO easy to put on and once on you can tighten them up nice and neat. I couldn't even fit his huge feet in half of the snowshoes we tried on. I love that they have a rubberized…

Pros
  • Children's winter boots, good offer, good quality.
Cons
  • Limited size options

My kid loves them the most in my rating

They worked great on my 5 year old. He could turn them on and off himself. They kept his feet warm and the wide width was perfect for his regular width feet.

Pros
  • too heavy! My daughter is 6 years old and she doesn't like them because of her weight
Cons
  • Although the boots are waterproof, they may not be warm enough for extremely cold temperatures. This can be a problem if you live in a climate with harsh winters or if you intend to wear your boots outdoors for long periods of time.

Surprising for a kid with wide feet.

I chose these boots based on some other comments that were about wide feet. It is very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes of any kind for my child with very wide feet including thick arches. Shoe stores are constantly trying to fit their feet into whatever they stock, but we're rarely lucky. It's the first shoe she's tried on in a year without crying. Not only are they comfortable, my kid loves the way they look and her feet are dry and warm even during the polar vortex. Thank you for…

Great for New England winters (and SPD!)

My son usually wears a size 11W or 11.5W depending on the brand of shoes. We bought the 13W based on the reviews we read about their large sizes. The fit is still a bit large even with boot socks (Wigwam or Smartwool brands) but they hold the foot well, it's comfortable and still easy to walk in. Its bottom layers tuck neatly into the boot and stay in place thanks to the premium lace-up closure. The extra velcro is a very nice touch too. We've had very cold weather in New Hampshire for the past

These boots will last four winters in Wisconsin!

Update #2 of October 2019. These boots last four winters in Wisconsin - 3 school holidays per day. The profile will eventually wear out but otherwise still looks good. It was an amazing purchase. November 2015 I am updating my rating. These boots survived all winter last year. Got them this week and they look great. At the same time, I bought my oldest son a pair of shoes at Walmart. They are completely riddled with holes in the ground. Now I have to buy him a new pair. These tundra boots will…
