TUNZE Blades 0220 154 Magnet Replacement Review

I recently purchased this magnet replacement from a trusted Pet Supplies store for my aquarium cleaner. As my tests showed, this product was faulty and failed to operate as expected. Its low magnetic strength made it impossible to clean the glass of my aquarium, resulting in an unsightly buildup of algae. While the idea of the TUNZE Blades magnet cleaner is great, this replacement was a major disappointment. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product.

Great replacement blade set for my Tunze aquarium scraper. I lost the original set of stainless steel blades which means I lost the blue clip too. That solved both of my problems!

I have tried several brands of scrapers over the years and have always been satisfied until I bought a Tunze scraper which does an excellent job of cleaning even the most stubborn algae on glass. The only downside was that in the original packaging I only had a metal blade on the long side of the magnet and it only had a small plastic blade on the short side - mostly only suitable for acrylic cymbals.
