I thought SORBOTAN was softer than rubber. These legs are made of solid material. I have doubts about my purchase as I was looking for vibration/damping control for my TT.

Vibration suppression. I mean it's better than nothing, but just a little bit. They barely raise the base above the surface on which the turntable rests. I had to use black rubber washers on each leg to raise it enough so the underside of the platter wouldn't touch. They were purchased to replace the Pioneer PL-518. They stay there until I find something better.

It's okay. Completely different from the originals. The originals move up and down about 2.5 cm when the player is lifted. They don't seem to give. But I put the platter on and jumped about half a meter from the entertainment center and the platter didn't slip at all, so I'm happy with that. I basically just want to be able to walk around the room and not have any problems.
