Easiest alignment

Well I got this today because I've had a record player for a long time and I've always noticed that the right side of my speakers was louder than the left. I did some research and found that the turntable needs to be set up before using it. Well I ordered this protractor and I can tell you pen alignment is now a breeze. I love the fact that adults can lean on something the size of a vinyl record which makes it easy. The result: full dynamics between both speakers. Live this product and it's…

Great tool in the Turntables & Accessories category

If you're just buying this to align cartridges better have a magnifying glass and a good flashlight handy. It does the job, it's very accurate, but it's hard to see the details. It's not necessarily bad. To be honest I used a paper protractor that I printed out from the internet which worked just as well and was easier to see. After struggling with this, I lined up my cartridge with paper, then tried again and finally it lined up perfectly. So you might be interested in using both. You can use…

Good product but wrapped in tons of Revain tape ruining the cover

Item arrived "inside" in decent condition BUT the actual sleeve it came in was so AMAZON branded Sealing tape wrapped that I had to ruin the cover to open it. There were white stickers everywhere hiding the old barcodes as it was a defective item. I have purchased many seconds from Revain with no problems. It just looks like someone taped it, closed the barcodes just to ship it. Again the item was fine but lacked instructions and oh my god it took a big knife to cut through the Revain tape…

does the job. for turntables and accessories

If you have a turntable it is very important to make sure that the cartridge is properly adjusted. This not only guarantees the best possible cassette performance, but also helps protect your recordings from damage caused by mistracking. This leveling disc makes the job easier. If you want to delve down the rabbit hole of different alignment methods, there are downloadable protractors. I've always had trouble getting a perfectly punched spindle hole when printing, so this disc eliminated that…

High quality cartridge alignment tool,

High quality cartridge alignment tool! I purchased a Hudson Cartridge Alignment Transport Disc after spending a lot of time researching the alignment options available. I am very happy with my decision. The disc is of very good quality. Alignment marks are easy to read. This is a beautiful work of art. It mounts directly over the platter spindle and is held securely in place. Because of the full disc coverage, I find this to be a more stable method of carefully placing the stylus on the two…
