The cable worked, but I had to carefully crimp the connector to ensure a good connection. Before, the cable fell off too easily.

I don't really know why turntables, maybe just older turntables, need an extra ground wire but a buzz on mine told me it was necessary. This ground wire went into the turntable jack I had and it stopped the hum. What else can you ask?

This thing is a piece of junk. It won't stay plugged into my turntable. In fact it happened when I was playing my turntable loud and because it wasn't properly grounded it was creating feedback and causing the crossovers in my speakers to go bad so now I need to fix them.

Worked on Technics SL-BD22. Slightly shorter if you want some distance between the receiver and the player. You can always splice the speaker wire if you need to extend it further, just make sure you have good connections. I also had a buzz initially and had to make sure it was making a good connection to the player. Now a nice clear sound.

When I first plugged it in I heard the hum of a SONY STR-DE845 receiver with built in phono stage. I had to use a Pyle phono stage which I used on a Yamaha RXV367 and connect it to Video 2's analog input. Problem solved! Should be short at SONY. Sent on time and well packaged.
