Product description There are three different wires used on the Technics turntables, so please make sure your model is listed below before ordering. This auction is for an AFTERMARKET Panasonic ground wire for most BLACK COLORED Technics turntables with straight tonearms. This wire works just as well as the original wire SJPB7M, which is NLA. And as a bonus, it is 4 ft. long, instead of 3 ft. like the original. Wire is terminated on one end with the special size tip that plugs into the hole next. Perfect replacement for the original

I have an old Technics turntable and the ground wire was missing. This requires such a connector on the device. This product was perfect and did the job required to ground the device.

Loose cable or similar

Turntable plug connection only works if you bend the cable just behind the plug. The wire inside must be free. I can tell when it's working because when I do, the 60Hz hum through my speakers goes away.
