I was surprised at how good the sound quality was for the price. These certainly aren't Bose headphones, but they're pretty damn good. The wireless transmitter works at a distance of about 30 feet. I left the living room and went into the kitchen (separated by a wooden wall) and the signal started dropping. I was about 20 feet from the wall between them.
