🐢 Turtle Fur Chelonia 150 Classic Fleece Neck Warmer: Double-Layer Warmth and Comfort Review

I bought this for snowboarding at 2 to 32 degrees. Here are my experiences: PROS: Well made and looks durable. Very, very warm and very soft. Color as I expected ( black so hard to spoil) Easy care instructions Good size for what it is and covers the face, neck and most ears. CONS: Bulky, difficult to pair with high zip jackets or helmet straps. Not waterproof on the outside (not advertised) so it got wet as soon as my icy beard melted. There was a lot of snow.

I really wanted to love it, it's very soft, looks great and is of excellent quality. However, I put it on at 20-30 degrees and my neck was sweaty and I felt so uncomfortable that I just took it off. I also tried wearing it as a mask but quickly realized it was a terrible idea. If, like most people, you go out in the cold, your nose is running and the snot is seeping through the fabric, and then you have an alligator of snot sliding down your face, that's not cool. Fleece started falling apart after just a day or two of use. (The fleece has started to curl up and form giant "pills," as they're sometimes called. If you want to wear this and look beautiful, you'll need to use a cloth razor every few days or so.) I almost still wear mine to this day every day and it keeps me warm as does the scarf although the fabric on mine looks pretty awful.

I ignored the reviews that said the product was undersized and went with the more positive ones. Do not do that. That's incredibly small. According to the label it is for adults. I don't know who that "everyone" would be as I am a medium adult female, 5ft 6in, 150ft, average head and neck size. If I can somehow figure out how to stretch it so it doesn't fit so tight around my neck, it would still be too short to be of any use. regret it.

I have really mixed feelings about these things - firstly we have three of us - two adults and a baby boy - straight out of the box - they are VERY soft - I've washed them and hung out to dry before our first clothes - super soft so far.
