Turtle Fur 2-Layer Mid-Thick Micro-Fur Fleece Cape

I used this recently in polar vortex weather we just had in Michigan. It stayed either over my nose or under my nose and over my mouth while I shoveled the snow. stayed warm. After some time, moisture accumulates. I love it and would buy it again.

Warm, soft tie, soft and flexible

I absolutely live this. I can wear them under my nose which is great because I wear glasses and the balaclava fogs up. It's very soft, doesn't sting like wool, and there's a wide range of colors to choose from. I bought mine to match the flag hat I bought here and it goes perfectly with the navy blue of the flag. I love it, it's inexpensive and I will buy others

Doesn't sit still while skiing

Soft, comfortable and VERY warm. Too warm to ski in Vail in January. I had to switch to a lighter fleece after half a day. It only covers half of your face and if you try to pull it up to your ears it slides down which is quite annoying on the slopes. It might be better suited to a more sedentary lifestyle in cold weather, but I wouldn't recommend it to my skiing and snowboarding friends. Wear a full balaclava instead.

Not very happy with it for 2 reasons.

Good material but a little bulky in size makes it too conspicuous. If they made it a few inches shorter I think it would be spot on. And it's really annoying that the sewn-in ID tag on the back always seems to turn to the front. I understand the importance of branding, but it's like the underwear label always comes first! The light blue color I chose corresponds to the photos on the web. But it's pretty bright, not flimsy at all. Very warm and does a great job.

a normal label that can be easily torn / removed, and that on the neck.

This particular turtle fur product is not as ultra soft and cozy as the neck warmer I ordered directly from Turtle Fur. Both have the same turtle label on the outside (which you can see in the picture) but they have very different care/washing instruction labels on the inside. The tag on this one is a hard, regular tag that can be torn/removed easily, while the tag on the neck warmer I ordered from Turtle Fur is smaller, softer and sewn on/cannot be removed. This makes you wonder if the one for

Great for warming your neck but not good for protecting your face when you move around a lot.

On my 14.5" neck, it fits a little looser than I expected. The quality of the material is good. It's perfect for keeping my whole neck warm, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're using it Expect to be able to move a lot if you put it over your mouth or nose, however the size I received was marked as an adult, I may need to order a smaller size (if they have one) although I am a 5ft Am an 11" male and weighs 175 pounds. With that in mind I bought this for use in a cold store where I walk around…
