Using this product, our team found that the screen protector was difficult to apply and ended up with bubbles trapped underneath. Although it did protect the device from scratches, it also made the screen less responsive to touch. Overall, we were disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend it.

Of course it offers your Mini a little more protection when you hit it against rocks or throw it off a cliff. For typical use, the Mini looks pretty solid on its own. At first I added this and a screen protector, but removed the Tusita case soon after because it felt overdone. Adding that rubber sleeve is just for excess heat and maybe blocking signals from leaking out of the device?

I've only managed to do it once but the protective case seems strong enough. It protected my Garmin from a few short falls without leaving a single scratch. So that's a win. Please note that this sleeve is not compatible with the spinal system that mini comes with. You'll either have to throw away the back or "modify" the case. Everything can be adjusted. However, this puts a little strain on the plastic.
