Great UHF Yagi for the price

Great UHF Yagi for QRP. I wanted to talk about the 50 mile simplex that I use with my HT while competing. Compact and easy to assemble.

Pros
  • Antennas
Cons
  • So far so good

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Significantly increased signal strength

This antenna was just what I needed to increase the signal strength of my police directional scanner. Excellent range compared to other omnidirectional antennas and excellent quality. Very easy to assemble. I'm glad I found this.

Pros
  • Radio antennas
Cons
  • Not sure

Works well for the price, good swr.

Works well enough for a small Yaga. I had no problems with this and was able to connect to both my local repeater and a few down with the 5W. I hooked it up to my VNA and on the 70cm ham tape the SWR is good. I will install it in my cabin so I can check the networks without having to install a more powerful radio.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Negative impression

Good product but a bit expensive!

I would recommend this Yagi to anyone experiencing signal issues that would be unacceptable for an omnidirectional antenna. atmospheric conditions. I find it a little pricey and light in design, but it does its job well by focusing your signal with a fairly wide beamwidth. In fact, it works just as well as its 5 cell counterpart sold at Revain. I also recommend this item for the fast and free shipping.

Pros
  • AV Accessories
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
