The seller said his wife had the same problem as me. The stuff China sends to retail stores is pure junk. Just a few years ago they were made in the USA and lasted ten years. I had to return these nipper as the blades didn't meet - they only closed at the tips even when I pressed them hard against each other. I used to be a professional manicurist and I can tell you that the blades of your cuticle nipper need to be fully closed or they will crack the skin which will cause your cuticles to become dry and chapped in a few days.

I ordered a large size but they are a little larger than the small ones I had before. So they're not even close to big. They don't move smoothly or abruptly. I used to have professionals, they are nowhere near professional. I am very satisfied with the quality in general
