This sake warmer works great. I love hot sake and turn it on 3/4 and it brings the sake to the perfect temperature in 3-4 minutes and keeps it there. The inscriptions are in Japanese, which adds extra chic.

It was the best gift of my life! Heat up a few pots of water like you would in a new coffee pot. Then pour some sake and relax, you will experience super pleasure. Ten points for design, usability and customization.

Bought this product to heat sake. And it works as described! Nothing complicated, just set it up and cook dinner. Sake is ready and waiting.

Not a hint of English on the teapot, plate, box or brochures. But for you Gaijin like me, it's pretty simple: turn on the plate and use the dial to set the temperature. Another reviewer listed the temperature for each dial position, but none of the settings brought the sake to an unacceptable temperature. The maximum liquid temperature I read was 150 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm trying to keep the dial a little lower to get 130-140.

Let me start by saying that I love this product. Really amazing to put the kettle on and then get some sushi and hot sake to go (hey I'm old fashioned...I like it hot) when I come back. So mine has a strange ending I think. When I heat it with sake in a proper bowl, it gets a metallic taste, which is very unpleasant. I have resorted to removing the handle and using it as a hot water/heating kit. I now use it to heat sake in a more "traditional" way by placing the bottle in heated water. Works great! It takes a while to heat up (about 10 minutes to reach the temperature of a chilled sake bottle), but having it ready is much better than using a carafe and microwave to heat sake. Holds about 2 carafes in a teapot - 300ml I think - and is compact enough to fit on your desk during Zoom's happy hours. Right now I have 2 friends who saw this, loved it and ordered it. Household voltage in Japan is 100V while in USA it is 110-120V which I brought from Japan many years ago, ended up being a seething sake attitude nonetheless. The current sake heater is much better BUT the instructions are only in Japanese. They contain a table of temperatures (in Celsius) at different settings.
