Good microphone and speakers. Adhesive rubberized wire that I don't need. It is better to have a Kevlar braid. I wear it under a shirt, over a t-shirt, and the wire is hard to get right. For me, the microphone cable could be shorter and the headphone cable could be longer. But it does the job I bought it for. Much more convenient and private than turning on the belt clip radio or trying to hang the radio on your shirt.

He does what he says but badly. The muddy and muffled sound sent to my radio is MUCH worse than the sound picked up by the radio's built-in microphone. People can't understand me when I use it. So the goal is actually missed. I don't use it, don't recommend it. Don't skimp, buy a more expensive one from Kenwood or whatever you use.

I bought this device with the idea of being able to both listen and transmit at a low volume. The device is solid and well made. It has strong wiring and the PTT works well and is convenient to use. Tried through several cheaper mics before broke and bought more for this one. That's money well spent. The sound quality is excellent and it appears to be well constructed. The cords are long enough for whatever padding you prefer. There's a separate mic and headphone cable if you want to run the mic up your sleeve.
