TYC 05-10 Jp Grd Chrke Blower Assy - Effective till 6-5-06 Review

Just installed on my 06 Commander and it fits perfectly. It's been about 5 minutes and the air is blowing just like the original fan. Some reviews say the fan is noisy, but this one is as quiet as the original and works exactly the same. Highly recommended if you need a new fan motor.

I bought this for a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had a very strange model and many parts didn't fit when I bought it for this year. Sometimes I can spec a 2010 model and get the right parts, but it wasn't this time. I give five stars because the fan worked, it just didn't fit and the seller refunded the money very quickly.

So far I've only given this 3 stars because it's only blowing in the air. As soon as I turn the key to ON it goes off. Changing the speed with the button does nothing. The one I replaced didn't do it at all. There was only a small knock. Otherwise, nothing has changed, except that the old fan has been replaced with this one. Anyway, I usually run my AC on full blast, but I'm not the only one using my car. This is very annoying.

Installed on my 2007 Jeep Commander about 2 years ago, fits perfectly, no problem, great product. UPDATE: A 9/2018 fan died today. stopped spinning. But it suits me, I ordered another one from the same manufacturer and from the same seller. This price is so cheap that 3 of these would be needed for 1 factory part. The exchange doesn't take long, about 45 minutes or so. But keep in mind that I live in Arizona, where we max out the air conditioner for, say, 8 months at a time.

The final step in getting my Cherokee AC working again. Installed since the summer, there were no problems. it blows almost too hot during the winter months! Shipping was insanely fast too. I hear a slight hum when running on lower settings. The only reason I can't hear it at higher settings is because the airflow noise drowns out the howl. I have very good hearing; I think half the people who buy this won't hear the sound. It was enough to fix a jeep I was selling but knowing the kind of noise it makes I would buy an OEM for my car. Funny note: I bought an 07 Saturn Aura XR and its cabin fan is making the same noise. I don't know if it's OEM, of course, but I think so.
