TYC 700003 Accord Replacement Assembly Review

This fan motor did exactly what it was designed to do. I was a little worried about the low price as the quality would be poor. Compared to other engines I found because they were a lot cheaper. But the quality was great. Works like a factory fan.

Perfect for 07 Accord 4 cylinder. Easy installation. The performance is almost identical to the original. Subjectively, the CFM appears slightly lower than the original, and slightly louder wiring noise can be heard at lower speeds. But I'm pretty glad it's not running given the value it offers.

The cover from the original will not fit this fan motor replacement. Original - Denso AY194000-9161. For my 2007 Honda Accord EX V6, the OEM part number for this Denso Honda is OEM # 79310-SDA-A01. The motor appears to fit and work, but the original fan connector cover will NOT fit this replacement TYC fan motor.

Very easy install and gets the job done. It's not quite the kind of product you would order from a retailer, but you can't beat the price and it fits just right. The original blower had a plastic cap that screwed onto the block above the motor, perhaps for extra noise deadening, but you cannot use this cover on this replacement block as there are no holes to screw the cap on.

Edit: It's been 3 years and this part started making noise. It's said to have a lifetime warranty, but the sellers at Revain and Midway Auto Supply refuse to provide a free replacement! This replacement fan motor is perfect for my 2003 Honda Accord EX. I replaced it along with the power transistor and now my fan system is working great. The power transistor did indeed solve my problem, but I thought the price was worth putting in a new motor and keeping the old one as a spare. Louder than stock but good. Not a direct replacement for the 2010 Ridgeline as the plastic piece around the hinge does not allow for a sound deadening cover. I've circled the difference to the original below. I took a dremel and trimmed the plastic for a better fit. The lid still doesn't fit perfectly and this, combined with the noisier engine, creates more noise in the cabin. On the plus side, the annoying clicking sound of the original is gone.
