Disappointing Blower Assembly - Avoid

As a loyal automotive customer, I was let down by this product. As a result of using it, I found that it didn't deliver the expected results, and in fact caused more issues than it solved. While the price may seem enticing, the poor performance simply isn't worth it.

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Poor performance, caused issues.

Noisy. A slight grinding noise could be heard in 1st gear.

Loud. It had a slight grinding noise at fan speed 1 that disappeared at higher fan speeds, so it was initially affordable. However, after 2 years it has become significantly louder and now makes a grinding noise at all speeds.

Pros
  • OE like motor and fan (wheel) assembly to save installation time and cost
Cons
  • boring packaging

Perfect fit, new fan also perfectly balanced

Perfect fit, new fan also perfectly balanced. The only problem is that before the old fan died, the fan still had a constant flow of air. New fan and motor, the fan speed drops and the air comes out a little less forcefully, then the speed picks up again and it blows as usual. Not sure if this is an issue with it or if the resistors have failed as well.

Pros
  • Wiring harness comparable to original, no pigtail
Cons
  • Slightly dented
