Fits 2001 Honda Odyssey

I don't know if replacing the air filter wasn't in the service manual or something but my family's van has never had the cabin filter changed since it left the factory. I could tell because the plastic cover was never touched. And the filter was almost pitch black. No wonder the air conditioner always smelled funny.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Only available in black

Ease of installation depends on the vehicle.

Suitable for several vehicles. Some of them are more accessible than others. I have a Honda where I can change the filter in a minute. The other takes 30 minutes to do carefully. Therefore, the "Easy to install" rating can be misleading. The product is decent and works well. I was disappointed that Revane sent it in a crushable envelope. It is not effective if crushed.

Fits perfectly! for parts

Our 2007 Honda Pilot has clocked over 100,000 miles and we have never changed the cabin air filter. The dealer listed it at $59.95. I bought this filter and did it for less than $12. Obviously the original was in bad shape at this point and I had to spend a little time vacuuming the filter housing. It's not the easiest thing in the world, but if you follow the instructions that came with the filter (or watch the YouTube video) it's not that hard, and next time it'll be even easier!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • May cause injury

Fits the same as the original

I recently bought my mother's 2006 Honda Pilot with 152 xxx miles as a gift. I realized that this filter has never been changed since my mother bought this car new 10 years ago. I was right. Installation was a bit tedious, but with time, patience, and a hacksaw, you can do the job yourself thanks to YouTube. The old Denso filter looked just like this one. Fits exactly like the original. An instant improvement in the performance of my heating/air conditioning system. Thanks to Premier it was an…

TYC Cabin Air Filter for Honda Pilot

As always, AMAZON had the best price and the "free" shipping was fast. This cabin air filter looks identical to the OEM - both are made in China. I couldn't tell any difference between the OEM and the much cheaper TYC brand (it's also cheaper than the PUROLATOR brand at your local dealership - I believe Purolator is the OEM for this application). Installation was easy once you know the procedure (installed on a 2006 Honda Pilot (this is my second Pilot)). If you haven't changed your cabin…

Suitable for framing. good for filters

Not much to say here. standard replacement. The size fits etc. The biggest problem is the glove box and bracket tearing off every time. In short, if you haven't already and it's never changed (I had), google the video. Straight up, it just takes a little time and guts (What, should I cut a piece of plastic out of the dash the first time? Ugh.) Anyway, after the first time you're ready to replace it for later times. Another suggestion: remove all the screws on the left side, all but one screw…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Damaged

I think I could save a few bucks.

Significantly cheaper than at the dealer. Installing Honda is definitely worth it. If you can imagine (and the cabin filter was changed once at the dealer, so the plastic was already removed), I was lying face down in the passenger seat with my feet out of the sunroof. I tried removing the last few screws to completely remove the glove box. I didn't have a suitable screwdriver (a Phillips screwdriver will not work) and I had no manual dexterity. I could see the damn filter but I couldn't reach…

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Disappearing finish

Fits perfectly on my 2004 Honda Pilot, just getting to the damn thing is another story! You'll actually need to cut the metal strap behind the glove box door before attempting to remove anything! The bolts and screws are also hidden under the dash, so you better be prepared for some acrobatics moves. I understand why Honda service wants to charge so much for this job! I endured ridiculous antics lying upside down, twisted like a pretzel, in the floor pan area trying to reattach the glove box…

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
