🔍 Compatible TYC 800218C Cabin Air Filter Replacement for Chrysler Pacifica Review

I bought this filter to replace the cabin air filter on my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Dirty filter is OK. I like it, but would like it to be completely white to make it easier to spot dirt in the future.

The OEM filter appears to contain activated carbon in addition to paper media. This one was just paper and didn't look that solid. However, an OEM filter is 4-6 times more expensive. If you don't have odor issues in your van, this filter should be fine - and a lot cheaper if changed every 20,000 miles.

fits my 2017 Pacifica LX perfectly. It's a bit confusing to adjust this at first, as one direction seems too narrow, the other direction seems too wide. You have to hold on to squeeze it in a wide direction around the edge of the glove box frame. It also appears to be about half as thin as the cosmos. Plus it fits when you squeeze it by 10 and the air in my cabin smells a lot better.

I am very skeptical about the cabin air filter size for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The cabin filter must be tight so that bad air does not flow around it and remains unfiltered. This filter is much smaller and not fixed in the filter housing than I think. But I have now ordered 2 different filters, this one and STP listed for this Pacifica model and they are identical. So I'll try, but I have to convince.
