Wireless Parking Sensor - The TYPE S Solar Powered Backup Sensor is a proximity parking sensor designed to detect objects in front or behnd your vehicle. When the Backup Sensor is activated, a notification will be sent to your smartphone via Bluetooth the TYPES App. The notification is a visual, audio, and vibration alert that can be managed inside the app. Designed to work with IOS and Android platforms. Reverse Warning Backup Protection - The sensor alerts you when an obstacle enters the path of your vehicle, with an audio and visual notification. Range of the parking sensor is 3.9ft to 0.1ft*. Solar Powered - Recharges the sensor with sunlight with solar light panels. No additional wiring or batteries needed. Initial charge required prior to use. Easy to Install - No drilling required or wiring required. Sensor is mounted using 3M double-sided tape that is secured to the backside of the license plate. Smart Parking Assistant - The Parking Sensor automatically go into power saving mode when the car is parked for over 30 minutes.

does not work best in vehicle security

Pairing does not continue after paired app resets device discovery, pairing does not persist for more than 30 seconds even if the camera and Wi-Fi data connection are nearby and the app is opened. The item is fully charged based on the indicator light. This item stays with you when you make a purchase.

does not work for vehicle safety

does not support pairing, after the paired application resets the device detection, does not support pairing for more than 30 seconds, even if it is close to the camera and Wi-Fi data connection and the application is open. The item is fully charged based on the indicator light. This item stays with you when you make a purchase.

Problems in many ways

This is the idea I was hoping for to protect the front of my Corvette. I've had no luck with other curb warning devices. Difficulty staying connected via Bluetooth. My car stays in the garage for days if not weeks, so I don't get the two hours of sunlight it takes to charge the sun. In that sense, it's useless. I will continue to contact the manufacturer over the next few days to see if I can find a practical solution. If not, I will return this item.
