🏊 Swimple Kids Goggles by TYR Review

My son (11 years old) lost a small clasp on one side so I checked my order and found it was 3 years ago that I bought it! That's an amazing value. Due to their manufacture, you can replace the silicone strap with an elastic cord. So I bought 4 packs for $8 and now I can use these glasses even longer. The bridge of the nose seems flexible and even after 3 years he says they are comfortable so they grow with him. I'm happy.

This is better than the popular brands you can find in stores. They last a very long time (we use two years, daily summer bathing) and are made of pleasantly soft rubber or silicone. We always dried them and brought them home after use, but one day we left them in the Texas summer sun for a few days and they faded. They still work great but my advice is not to leave them in the sun if you want to keep nice vibrant colors.

EXCELLENT swimming goggles. Mom 4 is here! We do a lot of swimming and swimming lessons and before I bought better goggles I spent about 75% of our visits to the pool fitting goggles. My 6 year old swims all year round and has just joined the team so waterproof goggles are a must! My daughter has a normal sized face and relatively normal eye relief, so it was surprising when most of her goggles leaked or left deep red marks on her face. This pair was recommended by a friend and is the first pair she has worn throughout her practice without any redness on her face! I just bought a second pair for my 3 year old son and they fit perfectly too!

The eyecups are too wide apart for my 8 year old girl and the glasses don't fit. I rolled the dice and bought an anchor. waste of money. Don't believe TYR's claim of how versatile the one-piece nose bridge is, which "fits different face types." Instead I had to follow my intuition and buy the COOLOO brand which, unlike TYR, was smart enough to understand that children's faces are not the same at all and therefore offer three separate nose clips to hold their glasses for really different types…

Haven't even received the glasses yet so can't comment on the quality. However, I forgot to read the fine print stating that SDJ Sports UK Ltd. Dispatched from the UK and can take up to four weeks! When my daughter conceives she has a week before the pool closes for the summer. Read the fine print to find out where it's coming from. Unfortunately it's already on its way so I can't even cancel. Bought these to replace my son's 1 year old pair who had his strap snapped. I suspect it was foul play! My daughter's set is in excellent condition although I still give 4 stars as a child's pair of glasses should outlive a child over a year. This is a good product and little girls seem to like it. It has an excellent side strap adjustment mechanism. They are ribbed and snap into place much better than most plastic case goggles and are easier to adjust due to the simple method of pulling rather than fumbling with the typical two handed mechanism and you have to create slack first and then pull the strap in the other direction.
