🤿 U.S. Divers Snorkel Set Review

I am a Divemaster and use this harness on every dive lesson we teach. As a role model for students, I should have a whistle with me, even if I don't use it most of the time. It's more comfortable than most hard plastic hose holders and doesn't bother me when diving. The position of the tube is also good when properly adjusted. The handset is quick and easy to remove, yet secure enough not to lose it. As I have a neoprene sleeve on all my masks the benefit of a good snorkel attachment is a plus.

Works very well after "installation". I gave it one star because it takes a few tries to get it right. The velcro must be perfectly aligned or your hair will stick to it. which defeats the whole purpose of using it to keep the mask strap from sticking to your hair. ;) It's definitely doable, but it took me 4-5 tries to get it right. My daughter and wife have always complained about the mask pulling on their hair. I had no problems with my hair length. Now their hair won't pull when they're feeling better or when they take off the mask. The hose holder is also a neat part of the item that makes it easy to put on and take off. It also makes the snorkel much more comfortable to wear since you don't have to push that little plastic snorkel retainer into your scalp. or at least one without the tube holder attached.

I have two of these, one for me and one for my wife. After putting them on our masks I couldn't believe what a difference the experience made. Sometimes we snorkel 2-3 hours at a time. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago. It's a good price and looks very nice. My wife is also very happy as the elastic doesn't pull on her hair like a normal elastic. I use it with the Cressi Lince snorkel and split mask system with standard silicone straps. I had to bend the silicone strap a bit to fit in this case, but that's ok. The hose holder works great. It keeps the snorkel where you need it on the surface but flexes when you twist or turn it in the water without tugging on the strap, which is great, which is why I chose this case. Edited my review after a few trips with this product: The snorkel holder is attached on the left side which is good for divers but when I dive my main source of air is a snorkel , and I need him on the right side. Got the US Divers Purge Mask and Snorkel for me and my spouse. We also have a US Divers snorkel system that keeps the snorkel in place.
