Exactly what I need for my smartphone. It fits perfectly on my lamp post. However, the gears have teeth and I can't get the right angle because the gear teeth are too big and I either have too much or too little angle.

I took a picture hoping to attach it to a mic stand so I can mount my camcorder and record from above. It works great, and while there are instructions, it's pretty easy to figure out. The order will likely be changed to have two available to shoot.

I have used this to extend one of my dome lights a bit and I have also used it to bend and attach other adapters to the stands I use. It is made of metal and looks very high quality. I have no problem recommending it to anyone who might need it.

I was hoping to use this as a ceiling mount for my camera but there were too many curves to support my DSLR so I had to scrap the idea. I bought the small square LED lights from NEEWER, they have a threaded hole adapter so I can screw them to the jib as a permanent ceiling light. I could screw up with this point. I use this mount to support a vertical light bar for video streaming. It works well for this and I see many more uses in the future. Of the two I received, one does not fully tighten onto the light stand mount. It wasn't a problem as gravity helps it stay in place, but it was disappointing. While it lets you tilt the flash, there's no tilt movement for the screen. It stays level. Update: The manufacturer contacted me and thankfully cleared up some misunderstandings on my part. They advised: Special detachable threaded sleeve design means you can insert the sleeve into both ends of the tilt adapter to get 2 different usages.1.
