U48062 SPGXH STREET ELBOW PVC Review

Based on my experience, this fitting is a reliable one that can be used for industrial and scientific purposes. It is made from high-quality PVC material, making it durable and resistant to corrosion. This fitting has a simple design that makes it easy to install and use.

I've walked through a few of these Nibco streets, mostly from Home Depot. I ordered two from Revain to see if the quality differs but they are about the same. They weld the nozzle to the fitting, and in most cases it's not entirely accurate. So if you feel the inside of the tube you can see the rib where the stub starts. I'm sure it's within the acceptable range, but I use a dremel to sand them down. It might be an exaggeration, I don't know, I'm not a plumber.

This is a PVC fitting. Should be five stars, but it isn't. Instead of a 3" 45 degree street elbow, I received with the appropriate label (for the 3" elbow) FOUR INCH 45 degree NON-STREET elbow. This will work for my needs (I add a slight twist and rain cover to the flared end of my boiler exhaust pipe), but it's much larger, doesn't fit snugly (slips loosely on the outside of the flare and grips where the flare fits the pipe doesn't fit snugly) and it requires some tape to work.
