Needs some upgrade

The tube in this condenser that the membrane tube goes into had to be bent straight to fit the tube into the tube. And it's a bit smaller than stock, so I had to upgrade it a bit. I would consider a new one carefully before deciding to install next time.

The bottom tube is the wrong size

The tube that the pinhole tube goes into is TOO BIG and this allowed the OT to slip into the bend and block the outlet. In this case, the refrigerant cannot leave the condenser, rendering the air conditioner unusable! Do not try to use an AC-Delco diaphragm with this capacitor, IT WILL NOT WORK!

Not as in the photo, well suited for air conditioning

At the moment everything is fine with the product. Doesn't look like stock and certainly not like the picture. The coils are further apart and there aren't that many of them. This might be a problem later on, but so far so good. Mine arrived in silver so now it looks like I have an intercooler. I hope nobody tries to race my 99 Tahoe. Plus, it fit perfectly and installation was easy.

Severe corrosion in less than a year.

Condenser purchased and professionally fitted. All radiator fasteners are in order and were not damaged during transport or after installation. Bought last spring. I noticed green paint under my cottage recently, I thought it was a coolant leak. Upon closer inspection on the lift, I found that the capacitor had failed. The condenser had poor cooling which caused the air conditioning to work poorly. The sides of the body where it failed are rusty (stealing) and failing. The main find has also…
