Shipping is great but we received the evaporator and the fins are damaged and we don't have time to return and replace it. We need to put this in my daughter's truck so it's ready for her birthday.

I had to bend the inlet and outlet ports to align them properly. I was also concerned about a leak appearing, which was the whole reason for the replacement. At least it had isolation, not like the other one I had to return. In hindsight I should have added a little more insulation to seal the pipes better like the OEM.

I had a leaking evaporator on my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 engine. The photo is clearly my old vaporizer, but the new vaporizer matches the insulation perfectly so I didn't have to add any insulation. I can say that today it works well. It's pretty intense work. In the process I also replaced all the components including: compressor, AC leads, condenser, battery, heater core, membrane line (you can't just replace the membrane, it's a whole line). Today I received the device. It arrived in a larger box along with other related items I ordered with it. Not a single box was damaged. When I opened the vaporizer box, it just wasn't packaged securely. One of the foam corner protectors was removed from the evaporator and it was a really big box. When removed, its fins were bent.
