A practical product, nothing to complain about.

I don’t want to delve into the console, I’ll go buy a Mikrotik Different pros: beautiful, powered by PoE, for simple tasks it is configured with a web muzzle, there are different wizards, a load balancer in all interfaces can be made a master, you can balance WAN LAN interfaces, starting with firmware 2.0. payment by credit cards, tasks for employees are shorter than the whole stuffing, i. E. tailored for the sale of radio channels to customers Has some cons DPI suspends the webmord along with…

Great router in Computers & Accessories

This is a fantastic router. It easily handles the needs of a fairly large network with 5 VLANs and around 120 users. Very happy with this router. Don't know the bad reviews. As with all generic things, this requires some networking know-how. I have over 30 ubiquitous devices and they are amazing.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Old fashioned

Worthless product, waste of money

I was having trouble connecting to my crap in the same modem/router/access point so got this as part of my plan to split it up for better hardware. First, my connection dropped more in games than before. Second, it eventually stopped detecting my WAN connection. Finally, overnight, it stopped detecting my ethernet connection from my PC. It also takes a long time to restart and it is very difficult to reset to default settings. Also, with all the "you can only use this port, these ports for…

Networking Swiss Army Knife (in the box!)

I have to say these new EdgeRouters are AWESOME for handling some of the toughest networking situations you could face. A variant of Debian Linux runs under the hood, which means you have access to a whole library of useful third-party products like Python3. Current firmware versions have unlocked hardware offload capabilities for switching, VLAN, and interconnect; while bridging (naturally) is still handled by the software. "Set up a LAG trunk with some VLANs bound to one bridge and some to…

Very fast, quiet, cool router

I found it pretty easy to set up and use. Pros: Fast speed, good interface (quick wizards, load balancing, VLANs, bridging LANs, WAN VLAN, TCP MSS clamping, statistics, etc.) looks good quality, small footprint, quiet, functional indicators to visually determine the connection speed . Cons: Only 10 usable ports, so everyone can use the same port. After rebooting, pairing with another device will issue odd traffic. (wanted to see if this device is sending data to a location and it looks like it…

Met my expectations.

I haven't contacted tech support and I don't know why a WiFi signal is even a requirement for this router. That being said, I configured the router itself with two WAN links and multiple internal networks on different subnets. The graphical user interface is very user friendly and most importantly it has preset operation modes for those unfamiliar with corporate devices. While it's user-friendly, it's also incredibly fast for the price. During a stress test on a web server, I found a maximum…

A few cons of this device

This is a decent router. Prepare to spend some time answering Duckduckgo's technical questions about setting up special features. Read the PoE specifications carefully. This device has a "power budget". So once you start using a few PoE ports, some other combination of devices might not get the PoE performance you envisioned. It's not "acceptable" for a cloud key. Do you use a cloud service for this? If you're looking for a multi-link router for complex home/office/business routing and…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No form required

Maybe that's overkill for home use, though.

I know it's probably overkill for what I use it for but for the price and performance I'd take it again. I now use it as my main router with two of my old Netgear routers as access points. So far so good, Netgear has struggled to keep up with everything, but now it handles all wired connections and hotspots really only have WiFi connections to keep up, and everything works much better. I know enough about the network to get in trouble, but I got it up and running in 10 minutes. Question to…
