I haven't contacted tech support and I don't know why a WiFi signal is even a requirement for this router. That being said, I configured the router itself with two WAN links and multiple internal networks on different subnets. The graphical user interface is very user friendly and most importantly it has preset operation modes for those unfamiliar with corporate devices. While it's user-friendly, it's also incredibly fast for the price. During a stress test on a web server, I found a maximum CPU utilization of 60%. (Acl or wan not set up yet) but I doubt it would change anything. In my opinion the best router for the money on the market.
