Very comfortable at the waist. side flaps go in to keep band from digging into hips. The clasp is strong and secure. Bags hold tons of stuff. I wear mine to the gym so I only take my padlock, gym gloves, water, phone, bottle of water, glasses and deodorant. LOTS of free space! I think I will use it as a dog training bag as well because it is so comfortable and roomy.
