Very clean even if it's not the loudest headphone out there.

There were JBL speakers that came with the CARDO Communicator, but the JBL speakers only lasted two 1 hour drives. CARDO warranty support was a joke. I ended up buying these UClear speakers which were direct replacements for JBL gear. Although the strap was designed to mount on the opposite (right) side of the helmet, the strap was long enough to work with the current left-side mount. The speakers are crisp and clear to hear, and while the max volume might not be as loud as the JBLs, they're…

Great Product - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I have UClear Digital Pulse Wired High Definition helmet speakers to add some basic sound to my helmet and they are perfect. The quality is good and I don't have to turn my phone all the way on to listen to music. In fact, I have to turn the volume down because the volume is almost louder than the noise of the road and the wind. The only thing I complain about is their thickness BUT that's more of an issue with my helmet than the speakers. It would only be nice if they were slimmer. My helmet…

Fairly good sound quality

I'm a conscientious hi-fi stereo snob so my observations are biased. I found the installation fairly easy and obvious. The sound quality of the speakers was good enough. Not as good as high quality in-ear headphones. but pretty good for a reasonable price. I had no problems with the volume. I installed them in a Shoei Neotech 2 helmet and ran them from my iPhone 8+. I also tried a battery operated AA headphone amp which noticeably boosted bass and treble. So I spent the money on the Neotech 2…

Position them as close to your ears as possible

LOVE those built in speakers in my helmet! The closer you can get them to your ears, the louder and better the sound will be! PERIOD! I have a modular helmet with speaker pockets so they fit me perfectly. If they could supply a foam pad that is a bit thinner than what they give you that would be much better. If they are TOO close to your ear, they will pinch your ear, creating a fine line. but when you find the place, they are PERFECT! I actually had to turn them off on the Autobahn because…

I really like it! - Computers and accessories

Very good sound. I don't hear much of a difference between these headphones and my Bose headphones. Probably less bass, but not enough to weigh you down. Ease of installation. I was able to rearrange the Velcro adhesive pads several times to find the best position in my helmet. My bike is a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1700 and it's pretty quiet. I can hear music well, up to at least 60 km/h. I could probably hear at higher speeds too, but I don't drive as fast and would be disturbed by dangerous…

Pretty good speakers for the price

I put these speakers in my HJC IS-Max II modular helmet and wanted to be able to hear music and navigation from my phone. For my helmet, they were very easy to slide in and hide the cables. My helmet already had slots for the speakers. I was lucky, the cutouts were exactly the size of the speaker. My cheek pads also have a built in speaker grill. That way I didn't need any other items in the box other than speakers and cables. You don't move. The quality of the speaker seems to be quite good…

Good sound. It lacks perseverance.

Overall great value for money with good sound and volume. However, you must be very careful when installing and positioning in the helmet. They are very easy to tear once you install the velcro. You don't have enough glue to hold them together. But the fact that the left speaker's lightweight foam cover and base comes off so easily is more of a cosmetic thing, and since it's in my helmet and no one can see it, I had to wrap it with a rubber band to keep everything together. I was disappointed…
