Description of 🔍 Enhanced SEO: Ugears Steampunk Mechanical Self-Assembly Kit

The very essence of Steampunk, the 3D puzzle “Steampunk Clock” from Ugears is here to remind you of the true spirit of this unique style combining art, science, and amazing mechanics. This model is a miniature imitation of a clock with a delicate carved body and a clever mechanism that sets its gears in motion and gets the hands of the clock moving. Beautiful lace-like ornaments of the Steampunk Clock include floral designs, the Sun, stars, and the Moon. Beautiful gearing of the model includes an original 90-degree angle coupling you can observe when the mechanism is working. Along with a smart gears connection, Ugears engineers implemented another interesting feature: the unsynchronized clock hands sitting on the same axle. Each of them moves with its own pace. The Steampunk Clock is easy to assemble which makes it a perfect model to start with if you are new to the fascinating world of Ugears. Still, in case you have been with us for some time, you will definitely want this outstanding puzzle for your collection. The model is made of natural eco-friendly materials and has a pleasant wooden scent. All you need to assemble your Steampunk Clock comes in the box, no glue or additional tools are required.

Nice gear driven gadget.

This is a gadget that is about 4 inches tall and can be placed on a desk, not on a clock. I had a problem with gears and used this model to solve my problem. I took it slowly and rubbed all the gears in the teeth and along the flat surfaces rubbing against the other part. I used an HB pencil to get into holes that the wax couldn't reach. (HB is a harder graphite. It leaves less mess and works better than a soft 2b pencil.) I've checked it every step of the way. What I ended up with was a model…

No clock and not easy to assemble

If it's a clock I don't know what units of time it is. When the big hand moves 3, the small hand moves 1. One full revolution of the big hand and the small hand stands at 4. The units should be punks and pairs, not minutes and hours. The mechanism is not designed for minutes and hours. This model is difficult to assemble and requires tools and sandpaper. Most parts were difficult to remove from the boards they belonged to. The material is 4mm thick plywood (Baltic birch maybe?) and over time…

Pros
  • Great for a small house

  • Hard to tell

Cool fun little model for beginners!

GREAT FIRST PROJECT I've wanted to try one of these kits for a long time but didn't want to spend a lot because it was too complicated or flimsy. This little set of gears is amazing! Difficult but not that bad. Some parts have very fine detail and others are quite subtle. It takes patience and a firm but gentle touch to remove the fragile parts from the boards. I recommend using a graphite pencil (I only used the old #2) and draw on the inside of each tooth on each of the gears touching the…
