Bigger than most connectors

These are good connectors. Testing the lines I participated in, I noticed less than a 5% drop in speed. A good substitute for starting a new line would be prohibitive in time/cost. I found them to be about 2x larger than most connectors I've used in the past. This is the first set I've bought that's rated Cat6. So this may be a difference as others I've bought have only been rated up to Cat5.

Pros
  • Very impressive

  • Poorly thought out

Fixed my problem: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

Works as advertised, tested speeds with cable from router to computer and then cable from router to this adapter and then to computer. Both speeds are almost the same. When I needed a plug to run my cable to another room and couldn't run a new cable, it worked well and hid well. Not too big and could be a bit smaller but for the price and quality I can handle it. Also 5 bags in case I need for another room for the price of 5 very cheap instead of just buying one. Post a photo for other buyers…

Use multiple. Everything works great.

I use 3 of these to extend a Cat5 run. It's definitely not the best method, but it really saved me a lot of trouble. The house had a coil 5 for the phone wiring and I repurposed it for the network. Rather than running new cables, which would be a major ordeal, I terminated my existing Cat5 lines with RJ45 connectors and used this product to connect them to a long section of the house. In the end I was hoping for a gigabit connection but expected to be satisfied with a 100 megabit connection. To

Robust connectors for computer accessories and peripherals

These connectors are reliable and work well. Yes, they are a bit big, but for my use it's normal: I have bad WiFi reception in the TV/Stereo area. So I taped two of these (glued together - looks out of the box) on a shelf in my stereo. The rear end of each has an ethernet cable that goes to the rear ethernet inputs for my AV receiver and Blu-ray players, while the front end is available to connect to my .NET via a long ethernet cable if needed router depending on my streaming needs. . It's much

Pros
  • No signal loss: Up to eight connectors on each side are properly aligned and secure, signals are transmitted without loss of integrity or delay. Along with nickel-plated contacts and an easy-to-snap locking clip, this RJ45 jack-to-jack adapter also offers a secure and corrosion-resistant connection.

These are the best at the moment. Thank you

They're a little chunky. YES for good reason. You need room for properly twisted pairs in the package. or they will be very slow when transferring files. They also don't attract moisture and acids that cheapo connectors get, or corrosion. I used the cheap ones and in less than a year they broke. until we can either remount or build another layer on the network, they work perfectly. Thanks for a great product. I would like to see products made for some of the phone devices that we have to deal…

Pros
  • 1 Gigabit Fast Speed: This ethernet cable port can reach up to 1Gbps to connect a Cat7 or Cat6 ethernet cable.

If you must use a CAT-5 adapter, use this one.

I used one of these CAT-5 connectors near my house to connect CAT-5 to a detached garage for a car. Install this connector in a customer-supplied plastic housing that the cable company has on the outside of most homes. It's not considered weatherproof, but we get full 1GHz Ethernet speeds at the end of a roughly 70-foot run and no issues. This is a much stronger clutch than I've had in the past. I assume this provides the best possible connection if you need to use a connector. I'll be the…
