iPhone X might be too heavy for this holder

My car dashboard is very flexible and I had to find an alternative phone holder. I thought it might work but the weight of my iPhone X was too much for it and it couldn't hold up. It's a great design for a potentially lighter phone. I really appreciated that it expands enough to fit my phone in it, but I had to return it as my phone kept falling out.

Buy it! Great phone holder!

I love this thing! I've tried so many other phone holders. sticky, vent mount, window mount. They always fall out of the vent or giggle too much at the window etc. but this little baby is sturdy and works like a dream. I placed it on the side of the dash above the steering wheel so it's lower and because it rotates my phone stays straight. This method is very unobtrusive. I could be happier with this purchase!

Ideal for table use!

This was purchased to keep my phone upright on my desk with the charger attached. It slides over the workstation bar and securely holds my phone upright and clearly visible. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ in an external battery case (like the Mophie case). The phone in the case is not exactly 0.75 inch thick and heavier than a regular phone/case. This holder is fully rotatable and securely holds my phone in place. I am very pleased!

Broke about 3 weeks after the return window closed.

But after about 3 weeks I put the phone in it and it broke, it only half popped out, my phone fell on the floor but didn't break, it was great for what it was designed for but it wasn't for them designed for eternity.
