Unreliable - Fixed

***UPDATE*** I have updated my review of this product as the original product broke after 4 months of use. However, the seller contacted me to offer a replacement and sent it to me in a very short time. The new product works great and the overall customer service has been excellent.

Cable worked with Mac Air and TV

This cable worked as advertised and connected my Mac Air to an old Sony Bravia TV. Nothing to set up. Turn on TV. Turn on your Mac. Connect the cable to the Mac. Connect the cable to your TV. Did.

This works great for me.

I used this to connect a Mac Mini to a Dell display via a DVI adapter. Works much better than the USB adapter I used and I finally get the 1280 x 720 resolution I want. The USB port has also been freed up. highlighted.

everything was ok for a few months. But in the last month only video was transmitted, no sound. So I don't know if it's a problem with the device or if it messed up my receptor.

Audio and mirroring of the

I have a Macbook Air, works great to mirror my screen (mainly used for basketball games). Great resolution and no lag, at first I had no sound output to the TV and only through a laptop so thought it would be another adapter to return BUT I was able to find the system settings menu and toggle the sound output and now I can watch and listen to the game on your TV. I have a UK Samsung Smart TV by the way.

Fits computer accessories and peripherals

I bought this to connect my old iMac (mid 2010 model) to a new second monitor via HDMI. The iMac only has a mini display port, no HDMI port. The communication is impeccable.

Great value for money

Sturdy. Very small for its purpose. Bought for my teacher wife to work from home on a thin school laptop with limited ports, works great as an adapter for a good quality used HDMI monitor. I would recommend it.
