I bought this case for my essential 2TB SSD to store PS4 games so I can play them on my PS5 without taking up space on my internal PS5 drive to prove. Downloading them from my PS4 was easy. When I connected the drive to my PS5 it was not recognized. I took the drive out of the case and used a SATA to USB 3 adapter and the drive showed up on my PS5. I needed an external drive for my PS4 library so I could play the games I still wanted to play without the terrible internal storage of the internal PS5 -Storage (Really Sony? 500GB, like PS4 when it was released? 750GB - 1TB would be more reasonable!). I bought two of these but have only used one so far. I had to boot into G-Parted to delete some partitions and erase the SSD installed there.
