Excellent cable, questionable QA

The product looks much better in live than in the photos. The metal sleeves on the plugs have a really nice finish and the light plays exceptionally well on the surface. Unfortunately, at the first attempt to connect them, the sleeve immediately slipped off. It looked like the sleeve was only attached to the connector with a small dab of glue. I put some Loctite on the sleeve and it seems to be holding up well. What I really like about this cable is that the end of the connector is very thin…

I received this cable in January and loved it from the start. It had the look and feel of a well made product. Fast forward to mid-April and the audio in the headphones I've been using this with starts to come and go. After testing the cable on various headphones and phones/iPads, it turned out that the cable was defective. Everything is fine with this cable, but for about the same price, I prefer the Kabeldirekt cable.

I've tried many 3.5mm extension cords - and lately I've been comparing offers from Monoprice, Cabledirect and Yugrin side by side. Monoprice cables are the cheapest, and Ugreen and Kabeldirekt cables sell for about the same price, with Kabeldirekt cables costing about $1 more on average for the same length of cable. These Ugreen cables are good, but I gave them four stars because direct cable cables are simply better. The Ugreen connectors are ok, but the way they connect to the cable is not as
