Plug and play (at least on Windows 10). Also works great with the built in microphone headset (designed for phones).

No problem with my Windows 10 setup I plugged in my Beats headphones and now everything sounds great and the built in mic worked automatically with no issues. I received this because there was background hiss on the motherboard when connected to an analog sound card and as expected given how digital audio works with USB connections there is none when using this product.

GREAT! If you need a wired headset you.

EXCELLENT! If you need the wired headset you use on your iPhone or Android to work on your computer, buy it! If you're running Windows 10 with no hardware issues, this thing works great! I am using this with Cisco Jabber. Much cheaper than buying a bluetooth headset and USB bluetooth dongle.

Great buy for computers and accessories

It was a very good buy and worked great with my computer. My computer's audio jack wasn't working properly, so I used a USB audio converter and voila! I was able to listen to my music and videos again on my computer. The sound quality is excellent, no distortion. Great buy, great price.

Stands out well against external components

This product is better than I thought it would be. Why? Because on my Mac it's different in that it shows up as "Headphones" instead of "USB Audio Device" which, if like me you switch speakers frequently, takes the guesswork out of choosing. Without this feature I have to guess which USB audio device I'm switching to since I have three "USB audio devices".

Savior - solved my online learning tone problems

It saved my online learning business. I had audio issues and received complaints from customers and the company's IT team. I got a new headset but still had problems. Eventually it turned out to be either an audio jack or a sound card. I bought this product and have had GREAT sound ever since. One of my customers posted a review saying my audio quality has improved and my orders have increased.

It's good, but it's starting to get annoying.

Worked well for the first month of ownership, no intermittent problems so far. Moving on to the end of the year, now my headphones crackle and hiss when no sound is playing. Also, it's very rare for the adapter to stop working and Windows to warn that the device isn't recognized, but a little fiddling and a reboot temporarily fixed the problem. The quality of the microphone is as expected, but I noticed something when recording in Audacity. The first picture comes from the adapter. If I justโ€ฆ
