Converted Rare HP 9800 "12 Paper Printer

I pulled my hair out (okay I have loads more) trying to get a useful but old printer on a Win 10 laptop Getting laptop working. Keys looked at and all. Who knew it was as easy as this IEEE1284 CN36 UGREEN USB Parallel Printer Adapter. Windows 10 did the rest by finding the right driver. BONUS, my old Win 7- Desktop also still prints with this HP 9800 using an optional 5-way printer connector and USB cable I don't know how that happened but I love it!Of course the printer is still not available…

Must have worked 30 times A piece of junk! The guarantee is now void.

China junk. Don't buy this. I guess I'll keep buying cables until I find one that's made in America and not some cheap piece of communist junk that's destined to fail right out of warranty. Thank you Revan Great to deal with you and your crooked chinese storehouses.

Works with Dell Inspiron 660 printers from Windows 10 to HP 4100tn

My HP 4100tn printer also connects to our LAN using an ethernet cable. This UGREEN USB parallel printer adapter cable connects my Dell Inspiron 660 running Windows 10 directly to my HP 4100TN via USB 2.0. I need to connect front USB 2.0 or rear USB 2.0. It doesn't seem to work with USB 3.0. It took about 25 minutes to set up as I was originally connected to USB 3.0 on the back. The Windows 10 printer troubleshooter gave a notice regarding USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. I also have an HP 4050N. I use…

It just works for computers and accessories

I am so proud of myself and so happy with this purchase. I have an old HP Laserjet 6P printer that only has a parallel port. I couldn't get my new Windows 10 PC (with a specially installed parallel printer port) to recognize the printer. I've been trying to download drivers, researching (Microsoft's website says HP 6P isn't compatible with Windows 10) for about two hours - nothing worked. My last ditch effort was to buy a Centronics USB adapter cable. I connected it to the printer. I plugged it

This worked for me! About Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I got a new gateway/router for my home network and suddenly it couldn't see my printer even though I was wired to the router. What to do? Well my printer has a parallel port of an old Centronics printer so I thought why not connect the printer to the computer via the parallel port and then use it as a network printer? Of course, most computers don't have true parallel printer ports. (e.g. LPT1) is larger so I figured I could get a USB to Centronics cable. First, I tried Sabrent's USB to…

Works with TTX Daisy Wheel Printer

I received this because the parallel card in my computer is not working. I don't know if it's a PCIE slot or what. Anyway, I have an ancient camomile printer from the 80s. These are primarily electronic typewriters, but without their own keyboard. There are no drivers for it and it was created long before Windows or USB was developed. Well, this cable worked like a charm. On Windows 7 64 Pro, all I had to do was manually add a printer, select an open USB port, and select a generic text driver…

I am using this cable to connect an 18 year old.

I'm using this cable to connect an 18 year old HP LaserJet 2100 parallel printer to my Windows 10 computer. Yes, I have other printers, but this one won't turn off. This aging HP can print at a crazy 10ppm thanks to the UGREEN USB parallel cable. ONE THING: I made the mistake of assuming the printer port was an LPT port. When setting up the printer, the port must be USB.

  • Lots of good vibes
