SD card reader is a must

I need a card to get photos from my husbands hunting camera. The camera also showed us the animal that destroyed our family garden. My computer is older and doesn't have a built-in card reader. The card reader I bought was the best solution for us, it arrived on time and even I had no trouble installing it. Thank you for the question and thank you for the product that fills the need.

Compact and efficient

Worked great. I used it to update the micro SD card in my car's navigation box. He completed the download and update in about 2 hours. Tip: Insert the micro SD card into the device with the printed side down, otherwise it will not go in.

Overheating computer and accessories

I used it for the first time and when I took it off my computer it was hot. The second time I left it connected to the USB, came back later, unplugged it and noticed that it wasn't hot, but there were shiny heat marks on both sides of the case and the front slot that the card fits in was warped. I tried to remove the mini SD card and it got stuck in the reader. Used pliers to remove the card to see if the heat destroyed the card. If you bought this reader, plug it in and see if it's…

Works as it should

Requires a fast micro SD card reader and meets the requirements. I get transfer speeds of around 42-44MB/s when using the USB 3.0 port on my computer. Very compact, no issues with drivers or anything on Windows 10. Would definitely buy again, very good value for money.

Driverless USB SD card reader!

This is a basic USB microSD card reader. My new gaming computer didn't have a CD drive or card reader, so I needed something to read cards from phones or a car DVR. This works great with my Windows 10 PC. I can put the dash cam SD card in this adapter and view or save the video. No drivers required.

Simple and effective!

What do I like about this UGREEN SD card reader? The fact that it has invisible wires, I've had readers that connected but were dangling from the cord or wires and sometimes weakened and untied 😡 so yeah that's one thing. Another thing I like about this reader is that it's simple, I mean only two slots so I can use my SDHC and micro cards. YAY! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Meets my needs well for card readers

I have a SanDisk USB card reader that is at least 17 years old and later high speed memory cards are too complex for it. They are not recognized in Windows 10. With this UGREEN SD card reader and faster cards, there is no problem in Windows 10. I did a read/write test with a Micro SD HC-1 16GB card with 10 video files totaling 5GB. The writing speed was 70 MB and the reading speed was 92 MB. I mainly use SD cards for camera, phone, dash cam, not for data storage. The UGREEN SD card reader suits
