Description of Uiuix Puppy Whelping Collars: 5 Record Keeping Charts, 15 Colorful ID Collars, Adjustable Bands for Breeders

Pack of 15 Puppy ID Collars: The upgraded 15-Color puppy whelping collars provide great solution to identify your pups without effort. 5 Record Keeping Charts: Keep records of whelping details, weight gain (daily & weekly), bottle & tube feedings, vaccinations & worming, microchip, new owner information. These charts make tracking your litter without effort and a perfect way to show new owners. Comfortable fit: The double-side soft fabric gives more gentle care to the pup's tender skin. It’s non-itchy and more comfortable than the single-sided id bands for the pet to wear. Long-wear collars: We adopt longer velcro (covers 4 inches), the puppy collar is 13.8- inch long and 3/8-inch width. The elongated velcro makes the collar not to slip off easily and secure around puppy’s neck. Adjustable design: Each whelping band has fastener tape at the end which is very easy to fit puppy pet who grow fast. It also ideal for some other small animals. [Tips] : Please don't put it too tight, your puppies are growing fast. Please check the velcro is pressed firmly into place to make sure the id bands can hold well.

Ideal for breeders!

Nothing better! They are nice and thin so not bulky. They are soft on both sides so they won't scratch or rub puppies. And they are long enough to grow with the puppies until they move to their new homes. I LOVE color coordinated sheets to keep track of her weight! This makes it very easy to stay organized. You can't go wrong with this!

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • Functionality

Great help with puppy identification!

We started with a set of Velcro straps. And we quickly realized that they wouldn't fit us, so we went with the smallest single-bar collars. PERFECT! As our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies grew we progressed to the next size and they have been fantastic. Removing the collar is no problem and using the clasp means there is no risk of the pup snagging on the collar! If we decide to have another litter, we will definitely use them again! Oh, and the record sheet was great too!

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Requires socket

It should be!

I love it! They are so handy! If you are looking to start a new litter of puppies this is a must! I hope we are out of puppies but if there are any. I will have more of these! 😍 Also, all the people I show this to were just like me and didn't even realize they did it, but are amazed and think it's cool! Love love love these. Plus, they came back almost as clean as new. And hand washed them. Mom didn't try to chew it or anything so it's great!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • boring packaging

The cards were mostly unusable and the collars faded

After my puppies were born the only thing the cards got used to was the birth weight which turned out to be wrong because I couldn't identify, who of the 12 weighed at birth. That they were all about 12 ounces was enough. It took me 2 weeks to put the collars on and after 2 weeks the collars faded to a point where it was almost impossible to tell the aqua color from gray or blue. I had to go back to the cards to match gender to color.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Communication with seller

didn't last long

Unfortunately they didn't last long. Within a day or two, many of the pups fell (who were only a day old, so didn't move much), and even those holding on couldn't tell what color they were - an important ingredient for puppies. Collar. Within a day or so all the pale colors started to look the same so I had to paint on them while waiting for another set to arrive. The cards are fancy but not very practical; I prefer to keep my information in a spreadsheet. I haven't used them, but I can imagine

Do not use for collars

We bought these for our first litter of ten puppies but quickly found that they were not safe. Puppies squirm on top of each other when they're little, and it's so easy one slips his foot in the other's collar. The fear of strangling each other was too great to risk. We thought we would at least use the sheets but unfortunately they proved to be of no use to us either. Each sheet contains a list of all your puppies, but the problem is that no one but the breeders wants or needs details on all…

Must be trimmed in small children!

If you have a small dog, buy 2 packs more. They are quite long and Yorkie puppies are about the size of a mouse at birth. I had to wait a few days to even try to put them on. Then I had to cut most of it off. I adjust them every other day as they grow so fast, but in a couple of weeks I'll have to replace them with new flowers and trim them to the right size. My mum has tried stripping them on day two of her puppies, so with less material mum won't notice it as much. Also make sure the Velcro…

Overall a great purchase!

I used this for my first litter of AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgis. All in all this is a great product! Post pages are amazing! I made a photocopy of this to use in future litters. Collars are a great idea, but I have a few minor issues. Some of them remained attached to the birthing mat and pulled away from the pup. I don't know if it was a collar issue, user error, or an overzealous pup, but either way I had two of them which were eventually replaced with real collars. Everyone else is still doing…
