Terrible. I'm so sad. I cleaned the structure and made sure it was clean but after a day my fish is dead. I dumped the water and the whole structure and water smelled like spray paint. Don't buy this, it will poison your fish.

Newts love it. They are still in the terminal stages and losing their gills so I thought they might outgrow them when they reach adulthood but to my surprise when the product arrived the holes were larger than expected. Beautiful, great skin.

You should check the size. When cheaper isn't enough for your fish. This is junk in your aquarium. Don't make mistakes like me.

I originally bought this thinking I could use it as a skin in a leopard gecko tank. But the holes are a bit small. I would recommend soaking and cleaning it several times before placing it in an aquarium. I've seen it cause problems for the fish before in other reviews, but I'll soak and clean it a few times before putting it in my betta tank. I guess everything will be fine after that.

This little cave house looks pretty good on the outside BUT there were sharp edges on the inside that I could cut myself on. Each entrance hole and a few spots on the "roof" of the cave were very sharp. After some sanding and using a dremel to remove some of those dangerous edges I managed to get the inside very smooth and felt safe enough for my betta.
