My sports watch came with a plastic strap which I'm probably allergic to and the manufacturer didn't have a velcro strap. This strap is much more comfortable than the one that came with the watch and can be adjusted to fit my wrist exactly. Fabric band that wicks moisture away from the skin to minimize irritation. I love this band. It fits well and isn't a piece of rubber/plastic to irritate my wrist. Love the color and the group guards (two of them). The tool kit allowed for quick (literally) donning of the band. It fits perfectly (18mm) with my watch. I used to buy plastic but I've always had trouble with the fit. And they never came with a tool kit. So that was a blessing.

Working outdoors in hot and humid conditions. I needed a durable watch strap that could get sweaty and hang with me in the shower at the end of the day. I don't like rubber so I wanted a braided nylon strap. This one does the trick. The leather detail above the buckle holes is the only potential weak point. It goes bad long before the rest of the belt. It doesn't matter since it's business hours and I won't be wearing it with my tuxedo, if you know what I mean.

I think the hole pad is synthetic leather or soft plastic. I think it wears out quickly. It was also difficult to get the group to stand guard. It came with a spring bar tool, but even with the professional spring bar tool I already have, applying the tape was a problem. I will be replacing this strap with a Zulu nylon strap which will allow me to change straps quickly. You will also be more comfortable.

I ordered this strap because it is very similar to the original strap on my TIMEX watch. It's better than the original because the brackets on the strap are made of the same material as the strap. The entire strap is made of nylon and is very durable. I expect it to be a long time coming because this whole band is made of the same material. It's long lasting as all come out. Since they are all nylon, I may never need a strap for this watch again. It also looks good.
