I should have bought that first. A few weeks ago I bypassed them and bought a box of cheaper plastic spools along with embroidery floss. They were in disarray with cracks and burnt through castings. You have no flaws. The plastic itself is stronger. They have no cracks or scratches and everything is perfectly smooth and round. Too bad I didn't sell sooner. It cost me a few spools of fancy yarn that probably cost more than the $5 I thought I saved. OK. Lesson learned.

Good price so far so good. Too early to determine longevity. I also have metal, there is no difference in work yet. Easy to use once you know how. I had to practice just because I'm a beginner. It's nice to have enough for every spool of thread I use. Winding coils is pretty fun once you know how (beginner), but saves time when you have them ready.
